Hi! I’m MaKenna, creator of MamaKenna.com.
I am a stay-at-home Mom to 1 (well almost 2) little babies! I love being a Mom and always pictured myself as being a stay-at-home Mom.
After I became pregnant with my first I felt like I wouldn’t be able to. Then after a couple months during maternity leave I decided that I needed to be at home with my baby.
My baby wasn’t ready for me to leave (eating issues) and I wasn’t either.
I just couldn’t bare the thought of leaving MY baby with some stranger. And not being around to raise my own child.
So I talked with Hubby about it and we decided we’d make it work.
Once I made it official I started my hunt for jobs I could do at home.
There were lots of different ideas but none of them really resonated with me.
Then one day I came across the idea of blogging.
I’ve heard of it a couple of other times before but didn’t pay much attention to it.
But this one article just hit home. After that I knew I had to at least try it.
I’ll never forget the day I finally made that giant leap! I was so excited and nervous all at the same time!
But also, completely clueless! Like many others first starting off, I’m sure.
After lots of fails, wins, and learning, everything just started falling into place.
My blog was starting to gain traffic and generate some money. Which I was able to do at HOME while taking care of my little one.
Even though starting a blog may have seemed kind of sudden (like many other on-the-spot decisions I’ve made in the past) it’s something I’m so glad I did.
Blogging gave me the opportunity to make money, be with my child, and even be my own Boss! Something I’ve always dreamed of being.
My goal for Mama Kenna, is to help Moms and soon-to-be Moms through motherhood by telling them my experiences and with some excellent research.
I’ll be talking about things like pregnancy, babies, toddlers, and mommy tips.
And since I’ve also become very passionate with blogging and starting a blog. Another goal of mine is to help beginner bloggers (and maybe even older bloggers) with blogging.
You’ll be able to find blogging tips, how to start a blog, and more.
I feel like I have gained so much knowledge from being pregnant, becoming a Mom, and learning this amazing world of blogging, that I want to help others through this crazy but wonderful journey!
